Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade - What It Is

Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it lands.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The execution is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
